The Mediterranean restaurant I've been too, made me feel like I was in Greece. The food is amazing and lots of choices for different types of palates. There's fresh fish that is flown in from all over the world and some are displayed on ice at the restaurant! A pre fixe Menu was offered which we took advantage of as several choices were available. I had the sea bass kebab and it was delicious, no fishy taste at all! For the main meal, I had grilled whole fish which was filleted. And for dessert, I had cheesecake but I should have had the orange cake or berries. This restaurant is situated in a beautiful venue and the decor was very Mediterranean. There's underground parking across, free on weekends of the first two hours. This is definitely a must try!!!
Loved the food love the ambiance! It's truly a decadent experience with lively music and sweet servers. Loved the olive oil cake and the chocolate cake Tuna steak was the best I've ever had Crab cake was very crabby Oysters were just okay The appetizers they give you with hummus and crackers are excellent!!! Worth the money we spent
Fantastic place ! Food was 10/10 . We shared a sea bass , Greek salad and some sides and everything was perfectly prepared and delicious .Our server Jake was on top of things even though the place was packed and very busy . This is as good as any Greek seafood restaurant I've been to . It's expensive but it is Beverly Hills and the atmosphere and buzz in the place makes this a great way to spend a night . For a splurge this place is excellent
Soooo good. This is a great place to go for a special meal. If you go for lunch, they have a great lunch special (I believe most days, check ahead), where you can get an appetizer and lunch and dessert for a reasonable price. The selections are fresh and exquisite. Lots of fish options, you can also get chicken and fries (that's what I got but it was called something else ) or meatballs. Definitely get a veggie chip appetizer, it's a stack of yummy battered veggies with tzatziki. And get a cocktail...the drink menu is soooo good. Cheers!
Avra felt a bit too upscale for me but it was very welcoming and with their prefixe lunch special, it's a deal. The service was superb and super attentive and relatable. The setting is open and bright and especially great in the coveted patio with the light shining in. The special includes a choice of an app, entree, and dessert. I got the Greek Salad, well dressed and a huge chunk of salty feta. The whole roasted fish was deboned, with a side of cooked veges. Perfectly cooked and hearty for a lunch meal. The orange cake was not amazing but moist and flavorful and fine but the winners were the app and entree. Such a great deal! Also, parking across the street with 2 hours free! A must try!
